Privacy.
Simple, clear information about what we collect, why we collect it and what happens to it.
Who we are
AFTER. operates the website at afterthen.life. For questions about this privacy notice or your personal information, contact hello@afterthen.life.
What we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address, preferred garment size, the product you are interested in, whether you are interested in the Personal Edition, and any information you include in a contact message.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, send a requested Chapter I pre-order notification, manage expressions of interest, and send AFTER. updates when you have chosen to join our updates list.
A pre-order notification request is separate from the general AFTER. updates list. Asking to be notified about Chapter I does not automatically sign you up for wider marketing.
Our basis for using your information
Where you ask us to respond to an enquiry or notify you about a pre-order, we use the information to take the action you requested. Where you choose to join AFTER. updates, we rely on your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 only if you choose “Allow analytics” on the site. It helps us understand information such as pages viewed, how visitors reached AFTER., approximate location, device and browser type, and general interaction with the site. Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga after you consent. If you choose “Essential only”, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can revisit your choice at any time using “Cookie choices” in the footer.
Where your information is stored
Website forms are processed and stored using Netlify, our website hosting and form provider. We also use Google Workspace for AFTER. business email. These providers may process information on our behalf under their own security and data protection arrangements.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected. Pre-order interest may be kept while Chapter I is being prepared and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can understand demand. Contact messages may be kept where they are useful for the enquiry or an ongoing relationship. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
Browser storage
The site uses limited browser storage for basic site behaviour, such as remembering whether a visitor has already seen the updates popup during a browsing session. We do not currently use this site to build advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it where needed with service providers that help us run the website, forms and email, or where we are required to do so by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for corrections, request deletion where appropriate, object to certain uses, or withdraw marketing consent. Contact hello@afterthen.life and we will deal with your request as promptly as we can.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we use your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Marketing
If you join AFTER. updates, we may email you about new chapters, products, stories and launches. You can unsubscribe at any time. We will not treat a contact enquiry or a Chapter I pre-order notification request as permission to send unrelated marketing.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as AFTER. grows or as the website changes. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date it was updated.
